PRODUCT REVIEW: Karakum Boot by GARMONT

Available in both a mid and low-cut option, the Karakum Mid GTX boot, by Garmont, impressed us during recent testing of YamahaÂ’s new 2019 YXZ 1000R SS in Alabama where temperatures hovered around 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

You’ll find the design of these boots provides better comfort in warmer conditions and during higher activity levels as well as delivering good durability and decent water protection.

We found the boots to be quite stylish and lightweight while offering over-the-ankle security as well as excellent breathability.

Extended lacing gives a precise fit and the uniquely designed out-sole provides excellent wet/dry traction. Differential ankle pads securely lock the heel in place for a more defined fit around your ankle bones giving you better stability, comfort and support.

The ankle cuff is lower on the outside and taller on the inside for greater overall stability and comfort and the anatomical tongue matches the shape of the top of your foot and ankle and is thicker to the outside and progressively thinner toward the inside.

This design keeps the tongue in place resulting in better control, stability and comfort.

The Karakum boot provides the support and protection of a riding boot and the comfort of an athletic shoe. We recommend these boots for trail riding or just everyday activities.

Get a pair for around $150.
