Haliburton Highlands: ATV Trails Abound

DirtTrax
11/1/2006

Ontario’s Haliburton Highlands district has long been known as a winter paradise for snowmobilers. Its rugged and beautiful countryside is tattooed with a well-established network of forest and rail trails providing a perfect backdrop for ATV and motorsport enthusiasts as well.

You’ll find every type of terrain imaginable for riding. Hydro right-of-ways, twisted and gnarly heritage roads, long forgotten logging roads and bush trails wind through the rocky hills that are typical of this region’s geography.

Trails vary from forest access roads to extreme woods trails. On the more challenging routes, a winch isn’t mandatory, but it sure makes a difference when you’re stuck!

Ride these trails once and you’ll plan to return. Remember; after your first 100 miles, there are still another 900 left to ride!

Call 705-286-3656 or visit HaliburtonATV.com to find out more about this majestic riding destination.
