MBRP 5-Inch Single Slip-on Performance Series Exhaust for Can-Am G2 Chassis

Spanning over a year in development the performance gurus at MBRP wanted to make sure they hit the ground running with the all new exhaust. Over 10 different designs ranging from oval to short to long and round were evaluated before finally settling on the new 5-inch diameter 304 stainless muffler design with billet tip. 

By increasing the diameter from the standard 4-inch to 5-inch MBRP was able to achieve impressive gains in performance most notably: increased exhaust flow, lower exhaust temperatures, a respectable 1 HP increase in power at the wheels (not at the crank) along with an enhanced exhaust tone that makes you grin uncontrollably from ear-to-ear. 

The other huge advantage – this is a true bolt on design that does not require a programmer or additional tuning.  

The new MBRP 5-inch Single Slip-on Performance Series exhaust is available for 2016-2019 Can-Am Outlander and Outlander Max models.

Minneapolis (June 18, 2019) – As the school year draws to a close, kids (and parents) search for fun, safe activities to enjoy during the summer months. With nearly 20 years of experience building youth vehicles and the largest youth line-up in the off-road vehicle market, Polaris offers a range of side-by-sides and all-terrain vehicle options for kids who are looking to ride into the summer season.

Scott Taylor is a product director at Polaris Industries and oversees Polaris’ youth off-road vehicle lineup. A parent himself, Scott understands the constant struggle to find fun and safe activities that will keep kids busy during the summer months.

“We spend a ton of time meeting with kids and parents when we are developing our youth vehicles. We want to know what our customers – and these young riders – are thinking. What do they like? What features are important? How can we make a vehicle better?” said Scott. “The number one thing we hear from parents is safety. ‘I want my kid to have fun – safe fun.’ It is about striking the right balance of providing an enjoyable driving experience, but also enabling parents to control the vehicle’s abilities to match the skill level of a young driver.”

When asked about the response, Scott shared, “the reaction from parents and grandparents has been incredible. They love being able to decide how fast the RANGER 150 vehicle can go within certain boundaries and establish a passcode in order for the vehicle to start. Being able to have these controls at the tips of your fingers is game-changing in the world of safety.”

In addition to the various safety-focused features and technology, every youth vehicle comes with a DOT-certified helmet, along with a safety-focused DVD that helps educate young riders about safe- riding practices.

VALCOURT, QUEBEC, CANADA, Tuesday, June, 18, 2019 – Can-Am Maverick X3 side-by-side vehicle racers Kyle Chaney and Cody Miller each won races this past weekend, adding three additional victories in 2019 for Factory Can-Am.

Maverick X3 Pilot Kyle Chaney Wins Two in Crandon, Wis.
Kyle Chaney (Can-Am XPS Chaney Racing) won two Pro Mod SxS races over the weekend at the 26th Annual Forest County Potawatomi Bush Run at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway in Wisconsin. Chaney piloted his Can-Am Maverick X3 X rs Turbo R side-by-side vehicle to a win Saturday and then followed that up with another victory on Sunday (round two). Chaney was joined on the Pro Mod podium by two other Can-Am Maverick X3 racers on each day, giving Can-Am two podium sweeps on the weekend.

“Leaving Crandon International Off Road Raceway for the first time with back-to-back wins and a comfortable points lead,” stated Chaney. “I’m super proud that Can-Am also swept the Pro Mod podium with me all weekend.”

The Crandon event made up the first two rounds of the 2019 Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League schedule. The next two rounds series are slated for July 12-13, at ERX Motor Park in Elk River, Minn.

Cody Miller Puts Maverick X3 Turbo R In AXCC Winner’s Circle
Cody Miller recorded his first American Cross Country Championship (AXCC) race victory of his career Sunday, winning round four held at Crossbar Ranch in Davis, Okla. Miller (Can-Am XPS Miller Racing) and co-pilot Allie Spurgeon outlasted the competition on a rain-soaked and rocky course and to earn the Pro Turbo UTV class win in their Maverick X3 X ds Turbo R side-by-side vehicle. The tandem was joined on the podium by two additional Can-Am Maverick X3 race teams. Hunter Miller, Cody’s older brother and fellow factory Can-Am racer ended up fourth, crossing the finish line on three wheels!

“The track was fast and slick with some big rock sections that absolutely tore the wheels off most of the cars out there, including my brothers,” stated Miller, who has two national cross-country racing championships on his resume. “A big thanks to Allie for being brave enough to jump in the passenger seat.
