Earlier this season we informed you of an International Trade Commission ruling imposing a hefty 22.5 percent tariff on Yamaha outboard motors imported from Japan into North America.

The ruling has been successfully appealed by Yamaha and no tariff will be imposed. The original dumping complaint was launched by Brunswick Corporation, the parent company of Mercury Marine.
