Question:
Dear Motorhead,
I am about to purchase a new snow plow for my ’08 Can-Am Outlander 650. I’m leaning toward the Warn plow.
First, is the new front mount system worth the difference in price? It seems like in the ads, anyway, that I can see a bar across the front behind the winch. Will this get in the way of anything?
Also, are there better plows out there that are close to the same price
range, 400- 500?
Thanks in advance,

Thanks for your email!
I can comment on plows for this model as we tested a Can-Am OL 800 last winter with a BRP plow and tracks on it.
The BRP plow has the ability to be used with track kits when an optional mount extender is used to move the plow blade forward out of the way of the tracks. Our experience with the BRP plow was exceptional.
Let me say this though – we have never had anything but stellar service from any ATV product with the name Warn on it.
They make well designed, functional, high quality, well thought out products and I have no doubt whatsoever their plow would be an excellent choice.
Hope this helps,
