Which 2-Upper?

Dear Motorhead,

I am thinking of buying 800 2-up for wife & me to use in deep powder with Mattracks atv tracks.

we only want a dependable comfortable ATV to use year round in the 1.8 million acres of Rio Grande forest in our backyard here in Del Norte Colorado, but can’t choose between BRP and Polaris.

Thanks for your email!

Your question is a tough one and I truly cannot answer it definitively as the two ATV’s you are comparing are among our most favorite two-up models.

However, I can help you with this – you should make sure beyond the ATV you choose that you have chosen the best dealer. This will make a huge difference as time goes on.

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with the OL 800 Max or the Polaris Touring 800. They are both powerful, comfortable and incredibly capable two-up ATV’s that will work great with a Mattracks track conversion kit.

Keep in mind, if you’re running deep snow or heavily loaded these ATV’s can generate a lot of CVT heat.

The best way to ensure you don’t hurt the CVT or belt is to use low range under heavy load, slow speed and deep snow conditions.
