Introducing New Textron Off Road 2019 Havoc and Wildcat XX Models

(NYSE: TXT) company, today announced three new Textron Off Road side-by-sides (SxS) as part of its continuing Model Year 2019 vehicle introductions. Joining the Havoc X are the Havoc and Havoc Backcountry Edition, and the Wildcat XX receives more horsepower and sees the addition of the Wildcat XX LTD to the line.

The 2019 Havoc X is a SxS for riders who want to push the limits of adventure on the trails and get hard work done around the homestead. With its 100HP EFI engine, class-leading suspension – now featuring FOX® 2.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks with compression adjustment –13 inches of ground clearance, industry-first extended cab for additional storage space, class-leading 2,000-lb towing capacity, and 600-lb cargo box, the Havoc X continues to create a stir in the SxS marketplace. The Havoc X is offered in Ballistic Bronze with a MSRP of $17,799.

For 2019, the Havoc line also added high-bolstered bench seats for improved ergonomics and comfort, and welcomed two new models, the Havoc and Havoc Backcountry Edition.

The new Havoc Backcountry Edition is perfect for recreational riders. The vehicle features a standard roof and hood rack, and its exclusive styling features a Bright White with Orange color with Backcountry badging. Recreation riders will enjoy new high-bolstered seats which provide more space and all-day comfort for long hours on the trail. The Havoc Backcountry Edition retails for $17,799.

Farmers and ranchers will appreciate the new Havoc base model. With its 100HP EFI engine providing power for the toughest tasks, standard Electronic Power Steering (EPS), class-leading 12.8-inch front suspension travel, 2,000-lb towing capacity, 24-cu-ft of storage with extended cab, and 600-lb cargo box, the vehicle is a strong and reliable work partner. The 2019 Havoc retails for $16,299 and is available in Fire Red.

Earlier this year, the high-performance SxS market changed with the introduction of the Textron Off Road Wildcat XX. Designed in collaboration with off-road racing legend Robby Gordon, the Wildcat XX is built for a superior ride in every aspect. The off-road racing-inspired suspension delivers best-in-class handling with more than 18 inches of front and rear travel. The FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 Shocks with Bottom-Out Control are precision-tuned at the factory with the flexibility to absorb and smooth out the most challenging rides.

For 2019, the Wildcat XX gets an upgrade in horsepower to 130HP, and is still the highest horsepower, naturally aspirated vehicle in its class. The vehicle is offered in Bright White with a MSRP of $20,699.

New for 2019, the Wildcat XX LTD sports all the features of the Wildcat XX with several additions that make it even easier to take it from the showroom straight to the trail. To protect the vehicle from brush and other trail hazards, the vehicle features front and rear bumpers. Protection for occupants include a half windshield and heavy-duty, marine-grade Bimini Roof featuring a built-in roll-up top with a sun screen for nice days. Riders also can listen to their favorite tunes while cruising the trails with the vehicle’s factory-installed SSV®stereo system. For superior weather resistance, the audio system includes all marine-grade components, including an integrated amp, two Kicker® speakers, custom enclosures and wiring harness. The system is controlled with a Bluetooth® controller and LCD display that includes an AM/FM tuner and AUX input. The new Wildcat XX LTD is available in Jet Black and retails for $21,999.

2019 CAN-AM Outlander MAX 6×6 DPS 450

The new Can-Am Outlander MAX 6×6 4DPS 450 ATV, complete with true six-wheel traction and an incomparable versatility, is built to haul gear and get the job done. Along with a few of its own functional features, like its clever rear platform, the six-wheeled vehicle was purpose-built to be every bit as capable as its larger displacement siblings, but also introduce the 6×6 segment to new customers. For 2019, it receives the 6×6 family’s enhanced wheelbase, Tri-Mode DPS and updated passenger seating amenities and styling, while at the same time retailing for less than $10,000 USD, making it truly an affordable workhorse.

– Rotax engine
A 38hp Rotax single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine offers great all-around performance to overcome tough chores and challenging terrain. Regardless of temperature or altitude, EFI ensures optimal performance from the engine at all times.

– CVT transmission with extra-low L gear
The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) means no shifting is required. The system includes standard engine braking, P / R / N / H / and Extra Low. The CVT housing has 13 bolts to ensure a proper seal and also includes an integrated drain plug. The extra-low L gear provides unmatched comfort for low-speed riding and an exceptional and smooth traction when pulling heavy loads.

– Relocated air intakes
The engine’s air intake and CVT inlets have been positioned as high as possible on the Outlander MAX 6×6 DPS 450 to improve breathing while navigating wet and muddy conditions.

– Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering(DPS)
The Tri-Mode DPS system features three modes (MIN, MED and MAX) allowing riders to select the desired amount of steering assist to adjust to the terrain requirements and to his riding style. All modes offer less assist at high speed to keep maximum steering feel to the rider and more assist at low speed to reduce steering effort.

– Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential
For situations that require optimal traction and as much contact with the terrain at hand, the Outlander MAX 6×6 offers both 4×6 and 6×6 with its Visco-Lok QE. In 4×6 mode, all four, rear wheels provide traction. Once 6×6 is selected, the system intelligently transfers power from the slipping front wheel to the opposing wheel with traction and is not hampered by speed or rev limiters. The system progressively and automatically locks and requires no additional buttons to push or levers to hold.

– Double Torsional Trailing arm Independent (TTI2) rear suspension
The Outlander 6×6 vehicles use an industry-exclusive, four-wheel independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes. The wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it and is designed to improve traction and optimize transfer of power to the ground. Offering a five-way preload adjustable shocks and 8.8-in. (22 cm) of suspension travel, it can soak up rough terrain while keeping the rider comfortable and focused on the trail.

– Quick-release sway bar
With its integrated Quick-Release Sway Bar, owners can adjust the amount of articulation from the rear TTI to improve the ride for both heavy loads or when unloaded.

– Double A-arm front suspension
The front double A-arm suspension supplies dive-control geometry for better cornering and vehicle-braking dynamics. The 9-in. (23 cm) suspension travel increases trail comfort and capabilities in rough terrain.

– 10.5-in. ground clearance
When combined with its impressive suspension travel, Visco-Lok QE and true 6×6 capabilities, the 10.5-in. (26.7 cm) ground clearance on the Outlander 6×6 makes conquering rugged terrain a snap.

The 2019 Outlander 6×6 ATVs feature four outboard 214mm hydraulic disc brakes with twin-piston calipers, front and rear, for superior stopping power.

The high-strength centre skid plate is made from proven materials and is designed for supreme protection and has the ability to slide over certain obstacles.

– 12-in., cast-aluminum wheels with centreless design
Centre-less 12-in (30.5 cm) cast-aluminum wheels offer a stylish, unique look and reduced weight but improved strength in strategic areas.

– 26-in. Carlisle ACT Radial tires
The 450 package includes the proven 26-in. (66 cm) ACT Radial tires for a smoother ride, increased durability and better shock absorption.

– 500-W Magneto
This package provides a 500-W magneto, enough to power accessories like a winch, extra lights or heated grips.

– 1,650-lbs. towing capacity
Fully equipped to move a load, the Outlander MAX 6×6 450 has a reinforced 2-in. (5 cm) receiver hitch and a 1,650-lbs. (750 kg) towing capacity that comes standard.

– Dynamic Passenger Comfort (DPC)
The Outlander MAX 6×6 ATVs have passenger-influenced ergonomics mimicking those found on the Outlander MAX models. DPC ergonomics means comfortable seating, cushioned ride and placing the passenger in an optimal riding position. The seating system allows for gradual bending of the backrest and pivoting to reduce kick back during acceleration / braking, as well as offering engineered enhancements like regressive flex and formed grooves for improved comfort.

– Passenger handholds
The angled rear passenger handle position allows for flex while riding and also reduces the overall impact to the passenger’s hands. The handles also allow for numerous hand positions to enhance the riding experience and comfort level for the passenger. For one-up use, the rear seat has integrated handles that don’t limit rear rack space or prohibit single-rider comfort.

– Passenger footrests
The Outlander MAX 6×6 features foot pegs with angles and depth that cater to the rear passenger. The footrests also have a third row of grips to improve lateral footing.

Tells the rider everything in one easy glance. Our easy-to-read multi-function gauge is equipped with a digital information center, including a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, gear position, hour meter, engine hour meter, temperature and engine lights, fuel gauge and clock.

– Radio Frequency (RF) Digitally Encoded Security System (D.E.S.S.)
D.E.S.S., an anti-theft device, includes both a performance key and regular key. Can-Am is the only manufacturer to offer a factory- installed anti-theft device as standard equipment.

The Can-Am Maverick Sport MAX DPS 1000R delivers riding excitement for up to four riders in a daring, precise and confident package. The versatile performance side-by-side vehicle is especially attuned for trails. A performance-grade suspension system with FOX 2.0 PODIUM QS3 shocks, power steering, and 60-in (152.4 cm) width improve the overall riding experience. A rear-mounted Rotax V-Twin engine supplies optimal performance and reduces cockpit noise.

Specialty vehicles for rock crawling and mud riding
Can-Am also unveiled three specialty vehicles driven by the enthusiasts. The new Maverick Sport X rc side-by-side vehicle ($21,299 US) comes factory-equipped for rock-crawling with a wider stance, higher clearance and added interior and exterior protection for operation in harsh environments. The inclusion of Smart-Lok* with ROCK mode, high-grade FOX shocks, arched A-arms and larger tires provide exceptional maneuverability when the going gets rough.

The new Maverick Sport X mr ($20,999 US) and Defender MAX X mr ($20,799 US) side-by-side vehicles each target the mud-riding devotees with purpose-built refinements, including snorkeled air and engine intakes, but do so in different packages.

The Maverick Sport X mr can accommodate two riders, while the Defender MAX X mr package can carry up to six adults with its dual rows of bench seating. Both side-by-side vehicles include Smart-Lok with MUD mode, higher travel, arched A-arms, a stable 64-in (162.6 cm) width, extended ground clearance and aggressive ITP mud tires for superior traction. The Maverick Sport X mr has a new gauge, FOX shocks and premium half doors for a more functional performance.

2019 CAN-AM MAVERICK SPORT FAMILY ADDITIONS

Can-Am gives recreational-sport and performance-driving enthusiasts more ways to discover their adventurous side in 2019, offering three new Maverick Sport family vehicles and fulfilling its promise to unveil a new side-by-side vehicle every six months through the year 2020.

The first is a 60-in. (152.4 cm) Maverick Sport MAX DPS 1000R side-by-side vehicle capable of comfortably carrying four adults. The other two new additions to the Maverick Sport family are each 64-in. (162.6 cm) wide, two-seat specialty Maverick Sport X-package vehicles. The Maverick Sport X rc 1000R and the Maverick Sport X mr 1000R designed for trails and specific riding conditions, namely rocks and mud, respectively. All three vehicles are meant to compliment the rest of the Maverick Sport vehicles, introduced in April 2018, and to expand the brand’s growth in the popular recreational-sport segment (namely the 60-in. realm).

STURDY ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
– Sturdy Engine
The Maverick Sport MAX DPS 1000R is equipped with a talented 100hp 976cc Rotax V-Twin engine. To gain more performance, the 1000R package wears a unique exhaust line and muffler for enhanced airflow, wears an additional CVT air intake and also sports the driven pulley from the Maverick X3, which gives it an additional 11 ft-lb. of torque and 25 extra horsepower. The engine, optimized for sporty trail and desert situations, is placed in the rear of the chassis to produce a quiet, cool ride for the occupants. Along with reduced vibration, standard engine braking improves control on the trail.

– A strategically placed and oversized air intake
Located on the right side of the vehicle behind the passenger seat near the cargo bed, the air intake supplies the engines with clean, fresh air for optimal performance.

– Oversized radiator

The CVT, with its additional CVT intake to draw more air to the clutch, was outfitted with appropriate ratios to deliver optimal torque for the Maverick Sport MAX and include gear selections for P / R / N / H / L. To date, roughly 200 some accessories will fit the Maverick Sport family vehicles. An integrated PAC-ready wiring harness is mated to the onboard 650-W magneto.

The Maverick Sport MAX comes standard with 3-point seat belts. However, for both occupant security and comfort, we installed the 4-point harness brackets on the Maverick Sport MAX at the Can-Am factory.

The new Maverick Sport X rc side-by-side vehicle ($21,299 US) comes factory-equipped for trails and rock-crawling with a 64-in. (162.5 cm) stance, higher clearance and added interior and exterior protection for operation in harsh environments. The electronically controlled front lockable differential system with Smart-Lok technology ensures maximum traction and enhanced slow-speed maneuverability especially in challenging terrain. The Smart-Lok system, developed in conjunction with TEAM Industries, takes integrated intelligence to new heights and allows on-the-fly adjustments. The differential can lock and unlock on the fly no matter the speed, letting the driver focus on the trail. The electronic system, via its Front Differential Module (FDM), gathers at least six data inputs (engine torque, vehicle speed, wheel RPM, steering feedbacks, throttle pedal, gear position) and smartly, strongly and quickly engages an integrated actuator with proper load and without delay. The result is simple steering output (same as being fully open), allowing the driver to accurately conquer varying obstacles while maintaining momentum.

The driver has the option to select between four modes: 2×4 / 4×4 fully locked / 4×4 ROCK and 4×4 TRAIL. The pre-set ROCK and TRAIL settings are designed to enhance the off-road experience by offering a more customized feel to match to specific terrain, conditions and demands.

2019 CAN-AM DEFENDER MAX X MR HD10

The Defender MAX X mr HD10 vehicle, purpose-built for mud riding from the factory, is the most impressive multi-passenger side-by-side vehicle to date. Its attractive mud-specific package remains every bit as tough, capable and clever as the rest of the family. It offers comfortable seating for up to six adults, unmatched versatility with its pick-up truck-inspired features and enhanced stability from its 115.5-in. (293.4 cm) long chassis. On top of all the Defender MAX XT features as standard equipment, the new MAX X mr package includes factory-added mud components like larger tires, snorkeled intakes for the engine and transmission and added protection to help it excel when the dirt turns to slop.

Additional ground clearance, 15-in (38.1 cm) wheels, a larger shock bore, enhanced engine breaking and the top towing rating in the class highlight some of the key package upgrades. Slight changes to make it into a 6-seater model include a longer wheel base (+32.5-in.) of 115.5-in. (294 cm), a small storage upgrade (+1.3 Gal) and +370.4-lbs. of dry weight.

The Defender MAX X mr HD10 package is powered by a multi-talented powerplant. The 72hp Rotax HD10 V-Twin is tuned for serious work, but for recreational use, also offers 61-lb-ft torque and peak torque at lower RPM for optimal delivery. The V-Twin engine is located in the rear of the Defender chassis to reduce noise, cockpit heat, improve access and reduce vibration.

The Defender MAX X mr HD10 side-by-side vehicle meet the demands of mud riding and also includes a snorkeled CVT and strategically located intakes (inlets/outlets) placed as high as possible in the chassis for supreme performance in wet conditions.

– Smart-Lok – Full lockable on-the-fly front differential with electronically controlled automatic modes
A revolutionary design, Smart-Lok technology, the electronically controlled front lockable differential system ensures maximum traction and enhanced slow-speed maneuverability especially in challenging terrain. The Smart-Lok system, developed in conjunction with TEAM Industries, takes integrated intelligence to new heights and allows on-the-fly adjustments. The differential can lock and unlock on the fly no matter the speed, letting the driver focus on the trail. Smart-Lok offers intelligent modes for different riding conditions. The brain controlling this ingenious technology is the Front Differential Module, gathering input from six, key vehicle parameters. It analyzes front wheel speed from both sides, steering angle, accelerator pedal, gear position, engine torque and vehicle speed. Depending on the readings and the Smart-Lok’s setting, the actuator will instantaneously initiate the locking of the front differential. The MUD mode has been designed for superior traction, allowing the driver to conquer the deepest mud holes while maintaining momentum.

The driver has the option to select between four modes: 2×4 / 4×4 fully locked / 4×4 MUD and 4×4 TRAIL. The preset MUD and TRAIL settings are designed to enhance the off-road experience by offering a more customized feel to match to specific terrain, conditions and demands. Our engineering team further enriched the system by including hill descent control, which includes an Electronic Braking System (EBS) at all four wheels, for improved control and traction.

– Lockable rear differential
A lockable rear differential provides the Defender MAX X mr HD10 with more mud-stomping and turf-protection capabilities, offering 8 different modes for conquering difficult terrain.

– Three driving modes
The driver can select between three different driving modes on the Can-Am Defender to adapt to both personal preference and the riding conditions: Eco, Normal and Work. Normal mode has no speed or torque limitations and is optimized for recreational use with no load or a light workload. Work mode is calibrated for working with high loads in a gentle manner, offering a smooth power delivery, still with full power and torque. ECO mode limits both high-range speed and torque to produce moderate driving with regulated-but-smooth acceleration.

– Double arched A-arm front suspension with twin tube gas charged shock(10-in./25.4cmtravel)
The Defender vehicles have a front, arched double A-arm suspension system designed to offer an enhanced stance, more control and improve handling by adding ride clearance when navigating muddy terrain and rugged trails. With 10-in. of travel, the ride is smooth in all situations, even when carrying heavy loads. Large-bore shocks also enhance overall durability.

– TTA rear suspension with arched arms and twin tube gas charged shocks(10-in./25.4cmtravel)
The arched Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension, which was designed specifically for a utility and recreational usage, offers a full 10-in. of travel to provide a smooth ride even in the most demanding terrain. Its architecture offers optimal comfort, ride clearance and drivability in all conditions, thanks to no camber change. The Defender vehicle’s TTA wears more bushings than some competitive units and is also larger and greaseable on both the chassis and knuckle, resulting in a more durable setup. In addition, the TTA features a wear plate between the suspension and the chassis, preventing direct friction between those two. This all translates to a more controlled wheel movement when driving, and an increased longevity. The system also includes a larger shock bore for better durability and the transfer of power to the ground when needed.

– 30-in. ITP Cryptid mud tires
The purpose-built 30-in. (76.2 cm) ITP Cryptid mud tires provide unbeatable mud-riding performance. The six-ply tires feature tall, self- cleaning lugs that are larger near the sidewall for traction in the mud and upon entry and exit. The aggressive tread pattern reduces in height near the center of the tire for improved trail manners and control.

– 14-in. cast-aluminum wheels with machined finish
Large 14-in. (35.6 cm) cast-aluminum wheels give the Defender X mr HD10 vehicle a refined look. The lighter weight wheels are durable for the demanding mud and have an attractive machined design to complete the vehicle’s awesome look.

– 15-in.(38.1cm) ground clearance
The Defender MAX X mr HD10 side-by-side vehicle offer 15-in. (38.1 cm) of ground clearance for maximum performance for conquering difficult terrain or carrying a maximum load.

– Upgraded payload capacity
The payload capacity was upgraded to 1,650-lbs. (750 kg).

– Open dash with removable tool box and under-dash storage
The open dash design features a handy water-resistant, removable 1.7-Gal. (6.3 L) toolbox, an industry-exclusive, to allow users to carefully carry tools and supplies they need in an organized manner. The open dash configuration is designed to be more functional friendly with more open storage, reducing overall hood space for increase onboard, accessible storage. Perfect for stowing small essentials, the Defender models also include convenient 6-Gal. (22.8 L) under-dash storage with an enclosed pocket. The Defender supplies a total of 16.9-Gal. (63.9 L) of storage solutions.

– Multifunction analog/digital gauge with open storage
The location of the gauge is strategically positioned in front of the driver to increase the readability of the information provided. The LCD gauge displays key information: speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip and hour meters, fuel, gear position, seat belt and 4×4 indicator, diagnostics, clock, auto shut off. A 0.7-Gal. (2.6 L) compartment behind the gauge cluster offers an easy-access storage solution for the driver.

– 4,500-lbs. (2,041kg) Can-Am winch
The onboard winch is designed to handle heavy-duty loads on a muddy trail ride with its 4,500-lbs. capacity and roller fairlead, is located high on the heavy-duty steel bumper for easy access and pulling force in deeper mud. The synthetic rope provides extreme protection against wear and abrasion and is ideal for muddy settings. A convenient button was also added to the console on the left side of the steering wheel for easy operation.

– Advanced Dual VERSA-PRO bench seat with X package trim
The Defender MAX X mr HD10 package includes a specialty X-package dual VERSA-PRO bench seating, front and rear. This includes black seats and Sunburst Yellow color-matching highlights with X-Team stitching. Both bench seats are engineered as a 40/20/40 bench seat, inspired by modern pick-up trucks.

The Defender MAX side-by-side vehicle can comfortably accommodate up to six adults and features profiled” corners to improve entry/exit of the cab, as well as a sturdy vinyl cover for improved wear resistance. The five passenger seats have integrated hooks on their underside and can be flipped up to improve onboard storage. Can-Am designers also added front and rear foldable armrests with cup holders for additional convenience. To ensure added comfort, the driver and passenger seats were bolstered to add lateral support and additional cushioning for the legs and back. The VERSA-PRO bench seat comes with a 3-in. (8 cm) adjustable driver’s seat (forward/rearward) for added comfort and better ingress/egress.

– X-package front bumper
A durable, powder-coated Sunburst Yellow front bumper enhances the X mr vehicle’s fascia while also expanding protection.

– Full skid plate
A high-strength full skid plate (center and sides) is made from proven materials and is designed for supreme protection and has the ability to slide over certain obstacles.

– Aluminum rock sliders
Heavy-duty aluminum rock sliders, painted Sunburst Yellow for a distinctive look, protect the vehicle’s sides and undercarriage from harsh hits from large obstacles and hidden debris in the mud.

– Mudguards
Oversized mudguards (or fender flares), made from robust injection-molded, heavy-duty plastic, increase protection for the occupants from mud, water and debris and attribute to the mud-ready package with a distinctive look.
