Kawasaki Enters 4-Seater RUV Market With Teryx4

Kawasaki sneaked the introduction of its 2012 Teryx4 750 4×4 side-x-side into its lineup this week.

Almost by accident we stumbled upon the micro site that features video, specs, photos and more about this unit.

We can’t say we’re surprised to see the Teryx hit the market in 4-up trim actually. Rumors about it have been floating around for quite a while and we’ve received emails about sightings of Kawi engineers testing unmarked prototypes almost on a weekly basis.

Without question, Kawasaki has taken this side-x-side to another level. One item in particular – well, 4 actually are the front and back doors.

Side protection was one of the smartest additions to side-x-sides, but Kawi has added beauty to functionality. Check out the painted doors on the LE version. Talk about sweet!

The Teryx4 boast a liquid cooled 749cc V-Twin with CVT with centrifugal clutch and electronic fuel injection for snappy throttle response.

It also offers EPS so steering would be a breeze even when loaded down with a full box and four full-size adults. Plus its ROPS frame provides additional safety.

Kawasaki’s delivered some amazing units this season with the 2012 Brute Force 750 and Brute Force 300. So far we’ve been more than impressed. We can’t wait for our first spin on the all-new Teryx4 and when we get it, you’ll see it here first.

Visit kawasaki.com for more information on the 2012 Teryx4 750 4×4.
