Here’s industry news that’s sure to resonate throughout the powersports industry – guaranteed to create discussion at virtually every OEM. For the few who may not know, Brad Darling has left his VP role at Arctic Cat and is now the President of Argo – makers of extreme, amphibious all terrain vehicles. Darling – who is among the most likable personalities in the powersports industry, was responsible for the ground breaking marriage between Yamaha and Arctic Cat.
The successful union produced a co-operative manufacturing and engine supply agreement that’s produced some pretty impressive snowmobiles – not the least of which is the incredible turbo-charged, 180 HP Sidewinder introduced in March. Darling’s move to Argo says some interesting things about this Canadian OEM. The announcement – not coincidentally – comes on the heels of Argo’s recent re-organization and new-found openly aggressive attitude. Better stay tuned…
ARGO, the world leading extreme terrain vehicle manufacturer, today appointed Brad Darling to President of its vehicle division, effective April 11, 2016.

As well as a strong background in the wider industry, he has an in-depth understanding of our business as he has been actively involved with ARGO vehicles on a personal basis since he was a boy, both attributes we consider valuable assets in strengthening and developing our diverse customer base. I look forward to working with Brad in the years ahead and am confident that he has the experience and skills needed to take the company to that next level of success.”
