Laurie Harrigan from Portsmouth, NH, wins a set of Hayes brakes with Dangerboy levers and a weekend’s lift passes at one of the Bike parks BC resorts.
Entrants from Canada, USA and the UK are pumped to win the 8-day and 7-night road trip around the world’s best mountain bike resorts.
Laurie gave us her thoughts on why she entered the ‘Ultimate Road trip’
“I dropped everything and entered immediately – an opportunity to return to what in my opinion is ‘THE’ mountain biking Mecca waits for nothing!”

“For my 40th birthday gift (in 2004), my husband gave me a trip to Whistler and registered me for the FABULOUS Spokeswomen Mountain Bike Camp which I attended with two of my girlfriends. My experience was simply amazing and it brought my riding skills and confidence to the next level. The instructors were awe-inspiring, both challenging and mentoring me to reach my goals. I vowed to return and my dream would become reality if I am fortunate enough to win the ‘The Ultimate Road Trip’. I tell everyone with whom I ride that they MUST ride in British Columbia at least once in their lifetime – it’s that incredible . . .”
Laurie got back on her bike last summer after having open heart surgery in May, her story has touched all of us here at Bike Parks BC, we couldn’t be happier with our first SPOT PRIZE winner.
