Press Release –

KTM Canada is very pleased to announce the renewal of its sponsorship of the Eastern Canada Ice Racing Series sanctioned by the CMRC Quebec.

More than the main sponsor of the Series, KTM Canada will also honor its “Ready to Race” motto on the track with a very competitive team.

“Our strategy is to keep on developing KTM’s brand exposure all around Canada and all year long. We teamed up with Picotte Performance, who are well-known for their racing successes and two very talented riders to ensure a competitive presence of the KTM’s at each round of the Series” explains Florian Burguet, KTM Canada Marketing Manager.

To reach this ambitious goal, KTM can undoubtedly count on Andrew Ranger and Maxime Sylvestre, both hired by Picotte Performance, our new KTM Dealer in Granby, QC.

After clinching the 2007 Canadian Nascar Champion title, Andrew Ranger is ready to get the show started on his 2008 KTM 450 SX- F.

With the 2007 CMRC Supermoto National title in his hands, Maxime Sylvestre will do all he can to add up more victories to his season.

To reinforce our involvement in ice racing, KTM also partnered with the fourth round of the Series, the Valcourt Grand-Prix (February 16/17, 2008), to promote the KTM Cup.

The Valcourt Grand Prix is probably the biggest snowmobile event in Canada. Every year, it also features some of the best motorcycle races on its long and speedy oval track.
