Polaris Sportsman 800 Drain Plug

Here’s a pic of the drain plug nightmare our crew encountered only a few miles into our Big Bore Shootout covered in the volume 7, Number 2 issue of All-Terrain Vehicle Magazine.

The mighty 800 Polaris twin encountered one nasty rock, knocking the engine oil drain plug loose and put its mill in serious peril thus preventing the Sportsman from competing.

We think a showdown between this issue’s Big Bore champ and the winner of the EFI Shootout from several issues back will settle any remaining questions.
