Dear Motorhead,
I just got a brand new 2010 Outlander 500. On the first morning after I got my ATV it wouldn’t start and I immediately knew it was the battery, so I charged it and it worked, but the engine is EFI. I thought that EFI could start in cold weather?
I live in the Alaskan arctic and its April right now, at night it gets to about 0 degrees. Does it not work at this temperature?

You need to return your ATV to the selling dealer. It should and will start when cold. Don’t mess with it! You’ve got a warranty for problems like this!
