Battery of The Future?

How many times have you wished you could drop a few pounds before race season to get an advantage on the track?

It is not an easy task and desire to race sometimes isn’t enough motivation to make that happen.

What if you could drop weight on your machine instead? It is possible with today’s technology and you might even get better starts as well.

I’ve been digging around in the charging system on my Can-Am Outlander and found that the stock battery sometimes isn’t getting the job done with the increases in compression.

I was recently introduced to the world of lithium ferrous batteries and am convinced this is the battery of the future.

Smaller than the stock battery in my Can-Am Outlander, it weighs almost 13 pounds less and gives the higher compression engine a spin like no other.

The only drawback to this battery technology could be the price, which goes for around $199 and up. Companies like CV4 in North Carolina have been working on reducing costs adn pass the savings onto the buyer.

It’s amazing what the human mind can dream up. We’re definitely getting a glimpse into the future as this technology continues to gain ground.
