Press Release –
On March 8th Polaris Industries announced its 2007 ATV racing sponsorships, the continuation of industry’s largest ATV contingency program for Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) ATV classes, and the continuation of a contingency offering for three races in SCORE International’s Off-Road Racing Series.
Along with the recent announcement of Doug Eichner in WORCS, other new Polaris racing team members for 2007 are GNCC Pro Bryan Baker and Pro Jeff Hancock for SCORE International and Best in the Desert.
Returning racers include GNCC Women Racer Stephanie Parton, Super Senior John Gallagher and the Wilson Racing Team.
Most riders will race the new Outlaw 525, the fastest accelerating stock quad that couples independent rear suspension (PRO-IRS) with KTM’s famous 525 engine.
“Polaris is excited about our ATV racing program for 2007 and our ongoing commitment to the high performance ATV market,” said Jeff LeFever, marketing manager for the ATV Division at Polaris. “Last year we set out to show IRS had a place in off road racing, this year we are taking it a step further by showing the versatility and toughness of the quad on both the cross country trails and in the sand.”
